COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Burns Honda in the Community

Burns Honda has called the Marlton and Evesham Township community home for more than 50 years. Our dealerships moved here in 1973, and generations of local families have supported our family business ever since.

That history means something to us.

Giving back has long been part of the Burns-Kull family and part of who we are at Burns Honda. You’ll see our team supporting local schools, community celebrations, breast cancer research, holiday toy drives and causes that matter to our neighbors. Some of those relationships go back decades. Others give us a chance to respond to a need or help make something special happen right here at home.

And while the donations matter, so do the people behind them – the Burns Honda employees who collect toys, support campaigns, show up for community events and help carry these traditions forward year after year.

A Longstanding Commitment to Evesham Education

Our connection to the Evesham Education Foundation is especially meaningful.

Burns Honda has supported the EEF for many years, helping the organization invest in opportunities for students and schools throughout Evesham Township. That relationship also has deep roots in the Burns-Kull family. Former Burns Honda President and Dealer Principal Larry Kull was a founding board member of the Evesham Education Foundation.

In 2025, President and Dealer Principal David Kull presented a $16,000 donation to the Evesham Education Foundation in Larry’s memory, made through the National Automobile Dealers Association Foundation.

It was a fitting way to honor someone who believed deeply in this community – by continuing to support an organization he helped build.

Larry’s influence remains an important part of Burns Honda today, and our ongoing relationship with the Evesham Education Foundation is one of the ways his commitment to local education continues.

Celebrating the Community We Call Home

In 2026, Burns-Kull Auto Group made a $30,000 donation to Evesham Township as the official sponsor of the township’s Fourth of July festivities and its historic America 250 celebration.

The sponsorship brought together Burns Honda, Burns Hyundai, Burns Buick GMC and Genesis of Cherry Hill to support one of Evesham’s biggest community traditions – including the annual Fourth of July Parade and fireworks celebration.

For the Burns-Kull family, there was something particularly meaningful about helping Evesham celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. Marlton and Evesham Township have been home to the family’s dealerships since 1973.

As C.J. Kull said when the partnership was announced:

“Marlton and the Evesham Township community have supported our family businesses since our dealerships first moved here in 1973, and we believe it is deeply important to give back to the community that has given so much to us over the years.”

That support extends to the people who serve our communities, too. Burns Honda regularly supports local law enforcement and first responders through annual fundraisers, community events and other efforts that bring neighbors together while supporting those who serve them.

More than five decades later, we’re grateful to still be part of the parades, celebrations, schools, organizations and everyday life of the community that helped our family business grow.

Driving for a Cause

Every October, Burns Honda turns pink in support of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

It’s a cause that has become an annual commitment for our dealership. Our team raises awareness throughout the month and helps raise funds for breast cancer research and support through a campaign tied to new Honda sales.

You may notice the pink throughout the showroom – and you definitely won’t miss the Burns Honda vehicles dressed for the occasion.

There’s a serious purpose behind all of it. Breast cancer has touched an enormous number of families, including people within the communities we serve. October gives our entire dealership another opportunity to rally around a cause that matters to our employees, customers, friends and neighbors.

Helping Make the Holidays Brighter

During the holiday season, Burns Honda is proud to serve as a Toys for Tots donation location, giving our customers, employees and neighbors a convenient place to contribute new, unwrapped toys for local children.

There’s something pretty great about watching the collection grow as more people walk through the doors carrying toys.

It’s a simple way for a lot of people to do a little bit together – and send more kids into the holidays with something waiting for them.

More Than a Place We Do Business

Marlton isn’t simply the address on our building. It’s where the Burns-Kull family put down roots more than half a century ago. It’s where many of our employees live, raise families and send their children to school. And it’s a community that has supported Burns Honda through generations.

We don’t take that history for granted.

We’re proud of the checks we’ve been able to present and the organizations we’ve been able to support. But we’re just as proud of the Burns Honda team members who keep showing up, year after year, and of the customers and neighbors who join us.

After more than 50 years in Evesham, being part of this community still means a great deal to us. And there’s a lot more we hope to do together.
